ARTIST : Rich Green

I have enjoyed photography since high school. Photography took on a different meaning when it helped me pass the time during my military tour in Vietnam. I sent my images back home along with my letters to stay in touch.

​

Having resided in St. James, NY for over 48 years, I would like to thank my lovely wife, Marilyn, and our two wonderful daughters, Jennifer and Kimberly, for being patient with me as I searched for the “Perfect Shot”!

​

My photo exhibits on Reflections of 9-11; Beauty of the Land, Sea and Sky; Central Park Gates; Focus on Long Island and Tropical Splendor have been displayed at various Libraries throughout Suffolk County, Long Island, NY. Three of my photographs were chosen as finalists in the Long Island Museums at Stony Brook photography contests.

I have four photographs permanently exhibited at the Gurwin Nursing Home in Commack, NY and I have donated images of the Twin Towers before their collapse to the Smithtown and Sachem Public Libraries.

​

I have received a Cetificate for Professional Pjhotography from the NY Institute of Photography and have also attendedclasses at Suffolk County Community College.
